  27. Lots of us whose invested in Non - Deskstation Alpha machine have made
  28. such decision since LW are being released at least in preminary state
  29. for all Alphas.  Now all the sudden, halting this sales(even before actual
  30. release) and saying "now on it will be only sold with Raptor" does sounds
  31. a bit unfair.  I know they will continue to support those already sold
  32. copies, but the user base for Non - Deskstation Alpha must be very tiny
  33. (may be next to MIPS). So you kind a feel hairy to how much support you'll
  34. get from NewTek in to the future.  Most of the hardware contents in Alphas
  35. are similar or at least you can upgrade it to match what new alliances are
  36. going to release, so why do we have to be left behind. :-)

  38. Beside are current Deskstation Alpha included in all this service?  I
  39. mean, those contract and agreements were just signed recently, so will
  40. it cover for those sold before?

  42. I was going to buy Raptor3 anyway but, if above is not cleared, I will
  43. have to wait till next year when the whole thing is released.

  45. Anyway,too much headache for spending so much money on near orphaned
  46. platform. (Amiga -> Non - Deskstation Alpha)
